I will upload a study of the End Times from a Biblical perspective. This will by no means an in-depth study of End Time events, nor is it a study of the Book of Revelation. Instead, it is a focus on several of the End Time prophecies that are scattered throughout the Old and New Testaments. To try to blend them together so we can get an overall picture of how they will be fulfilled and how they might be coming to pass today, so we need to be ready. There are some prophecies that are lightly touched, and some that are not touched at all. This study is meant to give an overall look at several prophecies from balanced view, because we really won’t know how they come to pass until they actually do.

A study of the End Times is important because God often gives a forewarning about events that are important. God has spoken through several prophets about what to expect in the End Times, (Ezekiel, Daniel, Joel, Jesus, John, Peter etc.). For this reason, it appears that God thinks this is an important topic for us to know. 1 Th. 5:4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. God does not want us to be surprised by these events; He wants us to be forewarned about them. This is for our knowledge, for us to be forewarned and for us to be able to warn others. Unfortunately, not one of these prophets gives us a clear picture about exactly how the End Times will unfold. Instead, each one of them gives us a brief glimpse about parts of the End Times, and it is up to us to try to put them together. Some prophets have seen the same events, so we can put those together to get a better understanding of them. Some prophecies, like Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Dan 2 that Daniel interpreted, have been partially fulfilled; so this can help us to have a clearer understanding of the unfulfilled portion. When we take the time to try to piece these prophecies together, we get a clearer picture of End Time events; although it is not crystal clear. Nobody knows exactly when the End Times will begin; but we can look and see where several prophecies appear to be falling into place, so we see that it could happen in our lifetime. So since it could happen in our lifetime, we should be prepared for what to expect, because God has forewarned us. We live in a society that is walking away from God, is more self-centered, and more people are being dependent upon parents, the government, or someone else. We live in a global society; the economies of each nation are more dependent upon commerce with other countries than they ever have been. Media is able to broadcast events throughout the globe as they happen, so this can have immediate impact upon other countries. There are many fewer people with no Christian worldview among our politicians, media and the culture at large; this will all make it easier for a populist like the Antichrist to rise to power. Technology is in place to operate the mark of the beast. Many nations that are prophesied to be in the End Times are either in place, or the seeds are planted so they can be: Israel is a nation, China has the people for a 200 million man army; Iran is a Middle East power; Russia is regaining its world power and is Iran’s ally; the Revived Roman Empire has a foundation with the European Economic Union. The United States is not mentioned, but it is the current superpower of the world. But we can see that it is getting weaker and losing respect around the world.

There are some important things that Christians disagree on, like when the Rapture will happen. Many Christians believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, but many others can point to Scripture that shows the Rapture can happen at other times, if it even happens at all. The concept of the Rapture has only been inside the church for a few hundred years. I have heard some teachers talk about those who do not believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture; that they will wave at them as they are ascending to be with the Lord. This is not a Biblical attitude. Our faith does not determine when we will be raptured. Personally, my hope is in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, but I believe it will be the Pre-Wrath Rapture. Basically I am a Pan Tribulationist; I believe that it is all going to pan out God’s way. We need a balanced approach on this issue so we are ready for whatever the Lord has in store for us. Our hope is in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture; but we need to be ready in case we need to live in the Great Tribulation period. There are some Bible teachers who teach that Believers need to be ready for persecution; I commend that. This is part of the reason why I believe we need to be prepared in case it is not the Pre-Tribulation Rapture.

Say the End Time events do occur in our lifetime and the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is correct so Christians don’t have to go through the Tribulation; that would be awesome! But all of us will have unsaved family and friends who do have to go through the Tribulation. I am hoping that with Christians having a better knowledge of these events that will encourage us to share the Lord with those around us, as well as being equipped to warn them of what is to expect. But say the Pre-Tribulation Rapture is not correct; then today’s Christians will have to go through part or all of the Tribulation. So having a balanced view about the Rapture will help Christians to understand that God has not failed them. The Bible is not incorrect; it was just man’s interpretation of it that was incorrect. The faithful can still have faith that God is in control in the world and in knowing that, it will help them to find the strength to endure the persecutions and problems they will be facing.

This study will contain 7 lessons.
